Tell your husband it’s his turn to look after the kids and spoil yourself. Whether this is going out with your lady friends, getting your hair or nails done or even going shopping by yourself; it’s important to take time for yourself. Setting a day for yourself once a month, or if you’re lucky, once a week you will leave you feeling refreshed, happier and more motivated than other! It’s important to think about yourself sometimes and to ensure that you are your happiest self!

Have a Family Day

While although everyday can feel like a family day if you have kids, or if you’re still living at home with your parents it’s important to set a side time to spend with your family! Life’s too short to not spend quality time with your family. Plan a picnic at the park or a beach day with your kids to get out of the house and spend some fun quality time together. Another great way to spend time with family is to have a family BBQ or Sunday night dinner. Invite family you don’t see that often, cousins you have not seen in ages and catch up! Make time for those who mean the most to you and you will be feeling better than ever. There is not better way to feel motivated then to be surrounded by people who love and support you!

Get Your Heart Rate Going and Workout!

There are many studies that say working out is the best cure for feeling unmotivated. Go for a run on a sunny morning or a cool evening and feel all your stress leave you. If running isn’t necessarily your thing, find a friend and go for nightly walks. Fresh air can really help you feel happier and refreshed after a long day inside. Take time for yourself and your health because your body and mind will thank you.
