Homemade Hand Soap

3/4 cup Castile Soap 
3/4 cup Distilled Water
1 tablespoon Vitamin E Oil
1 tablespoon Nourishing Oil such as Almond Oil
10-15 drops Tea Tree Oil
5-10 Lavender Oil


  • In a pint-sized mason jar, add the water first (to prevent bubbles) then the liquid Castile, followed by the oils.
  • Top your mason jar with a rust proof soap pump.
  • Shake the jar to combine the ingredients.
  • Shake the soap dispenser before each use, and then squirt a small amount into your hands as needed for cleansing.

Homemade Laundry Detergent

2 Cups of Hot Water
1 Cup of Baking Soda
1/3 Cup of Salt
1 Cup of Castile Soap
10 Drops of Lavender Essential Oil 

Combine two cups of warm water, 1 cup of baking soda and 1/3 cup of salt in a gallon jug. Shake well.
Add 1 cup of Castile oil
Add lavender essential oil
For each load of laundry, I use 1/4 cup of this fabulous detergent!

Homemade Liquid Dish Soap

2 Cups Hot Water
1 Tablespoon Baking Soda
½ Cup Liquid Castile Soap
1 Tablespoon White Vinegar
3 Drops Tea Tree Oil

Dissolve baking soda in the 2 cups warm water.
Add ½ cup vinegar
Add tea tree oil
Gently stir and pour into bottle.
