Seashell Crate Sign

These seashell crate signs are a perfect addition to your family room, front entry way or even your bathroom! They are simple to make and can match any house décor. What could be better than a fun craft that reminds you of your trip to the beach?

- Crate
- Paint
- Wooden Letters (L, V & E)
- Sand Dollars
- Glue

1. Find an inexpensive crate and choose a colour of paint that will match your home decor. Cover the crate with paint, and wait 30-60 minutes until fully dry.
2. Optional step: We used paper towel to remove some of the paint to give it a muted, natural look, but feel free to add gloss, or other accessories to give it the look you desire!
3. Paint your wooden letters a colour that is complimentary to your crate colour (in our example, we used white on a sea blue base).
4. Use a sand dollar as the O in LOVE. Glue the sand dollar on the crate.
5. Wait 30-60 minutes until dry, and you have an adorable LOVE sign that will forever remind you of the beach.

1. Rinse shells with fresh water to remove sand, algae and other residue. Let dry.
2. Arrange shells on picture frame as desired.
3. With the glue gun, carefully apply glue to bottom of one shell; place shell on frame. Continue until all shells are adhered.
